Belfast School of Performing Art (BSPA) finishes off their most successful year to date with Encore, the end of year showcase spectacular, in the Waterfront Hall this Sunday 24 June.
The show opens with a dance ensemble from ‘Moulin Rouge’ before each school takes the audience on a musical journey around the world and beyond with ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Disney Dazzle’, ‘Schools Out’, ‘Under the Sea’, Wizard of Oz’, ‘New York, New York’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Mary Poppins’.
Northern Ireland’s leading theatre school has 7 schools across Belfast and in Lisburn, Ballymena. Over 360 pupils from the senior schools, aged 6 to 19, will all participate in this, not to be missed performance.
Managing Director Tina McVeigh said “The BSPA has had an amazing year with many highlights, including the school taking to the stage at the Videopolis in Disneyland Paris. We are already planning some very exciting events for the 2018/19 term as the school continues to thrive and grow, encouraging some of Northern Irelands brightest young musical theatre stars.”
Artistic Director, Peter Corry, said: “ENCORE is an exciting night for all the brilliant young pupils of the BSPA to really show what they can do, and they more than fill the Waterfront stage with their vibrancy and flair. There is lots of wonderful and incredibly talented young people to work with in the school, and I look forward to working alongside each and every one of them to encourage them to be the best they can possibly be.”
