This year’s BT Infinity Lab Awards for SMEs, in partnership with the Cabinet Office and TechHub, are searching for the best digital talent in machine learning, robotics and artificial intelligence.

Entrants can choose between three categories:  Digital Public Services, Digital Defence Enablement and Digital Retail.  Winners will receive a £10,000 cash prize and the offer of business support from BT for six months to develop their idea.   TechHub are also offering a flex membership at their London office for six months to help the winners take their businesses to the next level.

Paul Murnaghan, Regional Director for BT Business in Northern Ireland, is urging NI companies to apply:  “The Infinity Lab Awards build on BT’s commitment to engage with start-ups and encourage open innovation.

“This year we are focusing on Augmented Intelligence and looking for SMEs with big ideas that can be applied to digital public services, defence and retail. We want to give SMEs the opportunity to apply their solutions to real world challenges and get rewarded for their ideas and creativity.”

Shortlisted finalists will be invited to pitch their idea to a panel of judges at the BT Tower in London in April.

The closing date for applications is 12th March 2018.
